A Study for HBsAg and Anti-HBs Positivies in Chung-Joo, Chung-Eup Officials,, 1990

Abstract
|
|
|
It is well known that Korea is one of the endemic area for type B viral hepatitis and
hepatitis B virus can be transmitted through parenteral and non parenteral route. Positivies of HBsAg and anti-HBs, and the difference of them by age, sex, were determined in 4291 public officials ials of Chung-Joo, Chung Eup. The result were as follows:
1) The positivity of HBsAg was 7.24%, and that of anti-HBs was 16.89%.
2) There was significant difference of HBsAg and anti-HBs positivies among age-group which arbitrarily devided by 10 years.(p<0.01) 3) The occurrence rate of HBsAg and-anti-Hbs was decreased with advancing age.(p< 0.05)
4) The positivies of HBsAg and anti-HBs were 7.58% and 6.45% in male, that in female were 7.24% and 16.89%.
